Alistair Davidson Biography
Alistair Davidson has over 20 years of consulting experience with both major consulting firms and boutique consulting firms. He has been CEO/ActingCEO/President of six high small tech and consulting firms in Canada and the US.
He is the author of three books on strategy, technology, information management and innovation strategy and is a contributing editor to Strategy and Leadership magazine. His career includes developing the first ever managerial expert system with 3,000 rules about business strategy (plus a financial model and financial expert system), developing major managerial simulation exercises for larger telecom leadership training programs, developing over a dozen software products including a large innovative information warehouse tool for modeling, budgeting and performance reporting.
He is a trained facilitator who has facilitated strategic planning for financial services, software, hardware, healthcare equipment vendors, not for profit, military and government organizations. He has designed and taught numerous sales seminars, public seminars, MBA programs and simulation based corporate training programs. He has consulted to clients in government, the military, pharmaceuticals, software, hardware, services, telcos and manufacturing.
As an entrepreneur, he has been responsible for all aspects of product life cycle management for 12 products internationally and been involved in developing and commercializing first of breed products and services.

1999-2004: Founder and CEO, Eclicktick Corporation, consulting and contract management positions, Silicon Valley. Contract positions have included turnaround CEO position with Eforex, Inc, Acting CEO, iPark Venture Campus, and President, Omicron Financial. Major clients have include HP, Harley-Davidson Dealer Systems, Government of Korea, and Veritas Software in addition to advising over 50 startups and early stage businesses.
1985-1998: CEO, Alacrity Inc/Alacritous Inc./Allstar Advice Inc. Founder, consultant, chief business development person, software development, training and consulting firm specializing in object oriented development and tools for supporting strategic planning, budgeting and performance improvement. Clients include over 200 companies internationally.
1984-5: Associate, Woods Gordon (then Arthur Young International, now CapGemini)
1982-3: Head, Strategy, Technology and Policy Group, Toronto, Laventhol & Horwath (later merged with Price Waterhouse).
